On Thursday, February 18, 2010, Attorney Franklin L. Baxley of Robinson Donovan will be a speaker at the MCLE’s 46th Annual Practical Skills Program. Attorney Baxley will speak on the subject of “Handling Employment Law Issues”, and cover various employment related topics such as employment discrimination; hiring and firing problems; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); and the Small Necessities Leave Act. The Practical Skills Program provides general practitioners – who have to be "instant experts" in a wide variety of subjects – with up to date information on the latest practice tips and shortcuts in a number of areas. The program is also designed to help recent law school graduates "bridge the gap" between the academic world and daily practice.
